The Levy County Schools Foundation was established in 1989 to promote and enhance the quality of education in all Levy County Schools.The Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 tax-exempt corporation created to expand the ability of local businesses, community groups and individuals to provide scholarships and fund special programs for Levy County students and their schools.

Foundation Objectives
- To raise and invest funds for scholarships
- To be an advocate for our school system.
- To serve as an agent to manage grants
- To act as a clearinghouse for donations (monies and/or gifts) to our schools.
- To promote incentive programs for our students and teachers.
Scholarships and Projects
- Distributing over $14,000 in scholarships annually to graduating Seniors
- State of Florida Match Grants matched with private local funds for 2001-2002 and 2002-2003:$39,137.17
- Read 2 Succeed: Reading Mentoring Program for low performing students
- Superintendent's Gala Fund Raising Event
- Teach of The Year and Educational Staff Professionals Recognition
- Welcome Teacher & Staff Orientation
- NICE Grants: Mini-grants for classroom Teachers
- Levy Star Scholars: Florida Pre-Paid Tuition Scholarships
