Mission Statement
The mission of the Manatee Education Foundation is to provide enhanced educational opportunities for students and teachers of Manatee County Public Schools that cannot be funded by tax dollars.

Highlights of Foundation Programs

Classroom Grants are awarded to public school teachers twice a year, for student/classroom activities. 

Brains on the Beach honors the top 4% of graduating seniors with a day of fun at the beach

Suncoast for Kids Scholarships are awarded in the amount of $1,000 per high school for students continuing their education

South Florida Museum field trips for 4th grade students for science enrichment

ArtReach for 5th grade students to visit a local art gallery

Verizon Reads literacy for students in all grade levels

heART & Soul Live Art Auction/Gala Annual event for the benefit of Art students/teachers

Galvano Golf Classic Annual event

Race to Raise Funds Annual event

Pittsburgh Pirates Benefit Game is also an annual event
